We're making some changes regarding the environments we have and how they are used. There is no longer going to be a test.mxmerchant.com. We are going to be using our Production API in place of this. The Production API is now used for real and test transactions. the negative merchantId signifies a test account.
We are going to be having 3 different environments. Production, Stable, and Latest.
The Latest API will have various features that are being added and tested, this allows you to know what features are being developed or added on to the current set.
The Stable API is essentially your playground for fully tested features of the Latest API before they become part of production. You can run test transactions using the new features without running into various errors.
With all these environments being made available, you should be able to start developing towards what we features we will include. Start testing, then run thorough tests when available in the Stable environment. Then deploy and use them in your applications when those features are made available on our Production API.
The base version of the API has been updated from v1 to v1.1. This should be reflected throughout the API endpoints listed on the documentation pages.
Transacting with the API is now available via 2 and 3-legged authentication, both still requiring OAuth 1.0a.
